Residents have their own rooms, eat together at the dining table, and spend the rest of the day as they like, in the living room, on the patio, or in their own room with the door closed. Caregivers are in the house with them, so help is a few steps away.

Each bedroom has a window and a closet. You're welcome to bring a favorite chair, bedding, photographs and small pieces of furniture. A room that looks familiar makes the first few weeks easier.

Meals

Cooked in the kitchen, served at the table.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are made in the house and served in the dining room, which opens onto the living room. We follow the diet each resident's doctor has ordered, and we'd like to know the foods they enjoy.

Safety

One level, no stairs, and help within reach.

The house is on one floor, with tile throughout and nothing to climb. The showers are walk-in, with a seat and grab bars, and there are grab bars beside the toilets. Bathing is done with a caregiver close by, at a pace that suits the resident.
